Last weekend I launched my newest pet project, Author Scoop, a constantly updated news and information portal for writers. The site features links to the latest news on authors, books and publishing—along with a growing list of links to resources and sites of interest to writers.

It's been a while since I updated the poetry collection, so I've added a couple of recent works, Ravaged and Confessions of a Pessimist.
My attention has turned primarily to fiction lately, but as I work through the final stages of my new story, I find I really want to immerse myself in poetry again. I hope that's a productive choice—although I still have to come to terms with some inner conflict about the direction of my work, largely centered on the limitations and consequences of an admittedly nihilistic approach (both in subject matter and form).
We shall see, I suppose...
